Steven Barthe, CPA

Steven Barthe, CPA

Steve started his own firm, along with Mark Wahrman, in 1993, after being a partner at a Big Four accounting firm. Being in the profession for more than forty years, Steve excels at individual and business tax planning. He works with a broad range of business owners and executives of multinational companies.

In 2017, Steve transitioned ownership of the practice to Chris and Matt Ritz as part of an orchestrated plan to position himself between business owner and retirement. Steve continues to provide services to Ritz & Associates as the firm completes this process.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys traveling with his wife, Candy. He also plans to spend less time in the office in the summer and more time on the golf course. Steve’s expertise and friendly personality have created a culture within the firm that can be felt in the service provided to clients on a daily basis.
